It's a lot. Really well done show though. And it probably represents more different groups of people than any other show on TV. The "cast" is always extremely diverse.
We just binged Fallout on Prime. I knew nothing about the games, but it’s a good sci-fi show with good mystery. I’m glad a new season is coming.
Have you watched the series adaptation from the 80s? Jane Seymour won a golden globe for her performance as Cathy. The series is definitely dated but she seemed great to me On the other hand, this trailer makes it seem like Cathy is the poor victim of her situation or something rather than a sociopathic murderer. Changing her character like that will make it a completely different story, seems like a terrible move
Yes, many years ago now. And I agree her acting was great but it looks like we may disagree about the nature of the character. I thought Seymour’s overdid it on the evil and craziness. And I know Steinbeck says she is supposed to represent evil but I’ve read the book a bunch and I just don’t see her that way. She was in horrible situations in a brutal patriarchal society and she used what strengths she had to gain her own power. Of course that doesn’t mean she’s not a sociopath or a good person but I think she’s a little more nuanced and interesting than maybe even Steinbeck intended. Which is cool imo that the character seems to overcome even the author’s black and white intentions.
The new season of Gamechanger premiered on Dropout last night, and the first episode is absolutely bonkers.

I have like, 5 episodes left in season 7 but I'm excited to catch up and be able to watch in real time
I also started Servant recently. Finished the first season a few weeks ago and really like it so far we canceled Netflix for the time being and liking a lot of Apple shows
i liked servant but would be hard pressed to tell you much of what happened in the last season especially - just kinda came and went
I mean The Big Thing happens in the final season which I thought was executed flawlessly. Incredible visuals and performances throughout too. I still remember that one zolly shot.
