Catching up with the last two episodes of Rooster…”I went to the movies for the 15 year anniversary of We Bought a Zoo” lmao at that whole interaction
One of the best books ever. Would be awesome to see an adaption nail the Cathy Ames character but my hopes aren’t high.
Big Bang Theory meets Everything Everywhere All At Once. If there is anything that solidifies that multiverse bullshit is played out I think this is it
This made me google to see what else he’s in that would be on Disney+ (I assume it’s daredevil), and this led me to discover that his cousin was Adam from Fountains of Wayne who died during the first year of covid
The Bear special episode and The Punisher tv movie that just dropped today also Bernthal's wife is the niece of the legendary wrestler Kurt Angle
Does the UK not have accessibility laws for streaming platforms or something? Surprised to watch the new Regular Show episodes on HBO Max using a UK VPN and there are zero subtitle options haha
Didn’t realize The Punisher was a tv movie. Been out on Marvel for a minute cuz it’s all been slop and don’t want to watch a show. However maybe I’ll give it a shot.
I guess Marvel calls them "special presentations". Yeah it's not even like a full movie either just 50 minutes. I mentioned it in the MCU Thread but the first 10 minutes of The Punisher special reminded me of Beau Is Afraid.
Yay - Big Mistakes (Netflix) renewed for s2. I am surprised no one else has posted about it. I really enjoyed it - It was perfectly chaotic and messy and hilarious for me and the episodes are all basically under 30 minutes. So yeah, recommending it a gain. I think s2 will be very interesting. Honestly, if it had been cancelled I would have said don't bother, as it's definitely a set up season for a longer story. Glad more is confirmed.
Season 1 was really good and was a perfect Arrested Development meets Ted Lasso set up. S2 was up and down (some episodes were really lame), and I thought the last few episodes and finale were pretty dumb tooo, but I'll also take more. It's another 'heartfelt / feel good' comedy, that when it's good, it's really good, but it definitely has some weak spots. Seems quick and easy to film too and I like shows that I don't have to wait forever for.
