Must be a UK/Aus market thing. She is sorta like Robbie Williams, huge in UK/Aus/NZ, but never really made a big splash in America. I think she had like one radio hit here.
it just felt very rushed she goes from unknown to being a TikTok star so big that people care about doxxing her on Facebook of all places within 10 minutes of the episode. I also get her dad helping her because he was a wrestler but that also was established with like 1 line of dialogue. The entire season feels like way too much stuffed into only 6 episodes so far.
Lord of flies. Memorable. Beautiful. But I definitely understand if it sometimes felt more like style over substance. I dug it. In an era where most of us know LOST and Yellowjackets and other similar "stranded island" type mysteries where people fall into madness, more than this og source, I appreciate them taking a slightly different approach. The kid actors were insanely amazing
