Been watching running point season 2 and it's been a mixed bag. I still like it but not enjoying as much as S1.
Halfway through Something Bad Is Going To Happen. Some silly stuff but also some really unsettling moments and very good direction.
For All Mankind's Wrenn Schmidt just got cast on this too. She's gonna play the attorney role and the protagonist's ex-wife
took me a few days but i finally finished Something Bad is Going to Happen. Take out like 1 or 2 episodes and it's a borderline masterpiece for me. I loved this. Atmosphere is king and this hit it out of the park. Very unique. Different. Thought the main actress was awesome. Yeah, if you sit and think about it, a lot of the episodes felt like bait and switches (so much of the assumed horror wasn't really there?) and they did that a few times but whatever. I thought the premise, atmosphere, ending, it all worked super well with me. A really strong B+/A-. It didn't need to be THAT long.
Yeah now that I know it's getting a season 2 it might need its own thread soon. Just a show that has a lot of fun with its characters and stories so far. It's settled into a bit of a routine right now but I'm enjoying said routine so. It is bothering me that they keep letting the pregnant character get in the sauna lol
Widow's Bay is cool. Basically "If Schitt's Creek was also supernatural horror". Anything with Stephen Root acting unhinged I will watch.
Another Kevin Hart Netflix film announced! I swear other than the Jumanji films he hasn't starred in live action film on the big screen in a long time!
They cancelled Stumble. So pissed. One of the better comedies of recent. Just gona cancel peacock now
