How much of the book did S1 cover? Is there just one book? Looking to get an idea of how much more we could look forward to getting, I've really lived this show haha it's comedy is just PERFECT.
The whole thing I’m gonna guess given there’s still an episode left. It’s not a full length novel. Most of the books in the series are novellas aside from two which randomly are full length books lol. there are 7 books so far. It’ll be interesting to see how closely they follow them since the main cast doesn’t appear in all of them.
Oh neat! That sounds super interesting, sounds like they have PLENTY of material to cover then. And I guess that would make sense of the main cast not appearing as I assume Murderbot has had plenty of journeys and stories if it's own?
Yeah. Basically goes off to investigate its past that they’ve shown pieces of and gets into misadventures. Does eventually return to the main cast after a couple tho.
Yeah I figured with the tiny bits we were getting of it's past that we'd eventually learn more if we ever got more seasons. As much as I like the supporting cast (especially Mensah and Rathi) Skarsgard is definitely the draw and his acting is so on point in this show haha. I love him in a lead role.
so, hbo max's website was blocked on my work network max was not and now that it's hbo max again it's blocked
What job do you have that allows you to watch TV on a work desktop?? I'm jealous lol. I do have a 19 inch TV on my desk for when I WFH though.
idk man i have 2 monitors and a laptop. i also have a smart tv on the wall in my office the previous person in my position installed
yeah i didn't know if your work device was a desktop or if you had your own on a work network. clearly it's not a good idea to install unapproved software on a work device, lol
i currently work from home, and have my MacBook Pro connected to an old 24 inch TV my partner used to use as a monitor. gets the job done, but it'd be nice to have a professional monitor at some point
A day late but I love the annual tradition of Virgin River getting renewed and one person being like “this is the first I’ve even heard of it” and everyone else being like “yeah it sucks but my partner loves it” lol My wife also watches it, but for at least three seasons now it’s felt like more of a hate watch out of some mystery need to complete the show
