Bro was such a legendary bullshitter that they even let him lie a bunch one last time from beyond the grave
I remember when he opened his mac n cheese restaurant at the Mall of America way back in like 1995 or whatever; think I ate there once, and then it was gone 6 months later, haha
everyone know it's called pastamania, and totally not just because it's the kind of thing podcasts constantly discover
Yeah I remember because the first ever episode of WCW Nitro was shot at Mall of America in 1995 and they featured Pastamania prominently. Hogan had a gift shop in Clearwater Beach pretty close to me that sells NWO shirts and replica title belts and stuff like that.
Company Retreat was so fun. they really find the best ppl for these things, Anthony is such a great protagonist.
watched the chevy chase hbo max documentary. i still think he's an old asshole but i can kinda understand why he's an old asshole now. harrowing stuff.
I know its usually 'let people enjoy things' but man, big mouth is so bad and unfunny to me. Wild it got 8 seasons and now a 2nd spin off
This Netflix Unreal chess episode is fascinating. So basically it starts off as this underdog story where this sorta psycho American 16 year old kid gets suddenly insanely good at chess during the pandemic from playing online on twitch and from playing NYC park chess hustlers. He becomes the biggest zoomer star of the "E-Sportification" of Chess era. He then becomes US Junior Champion. He then comes out of nowhere beats the #1 ranked chess player in the world Magnus Carlson in a major traditional in person match, and is immediately accused of cheating (and other more salacious things) by the older chess establishment.
First one was okay as a kind of John wick style action movie rip off but I do not remember anything about the second one.
