"Take Me As You Please" shows up on Apple Music but won't play or download. Might be just a bug for me.
The positivity in the comments on YouTube is surprising/refreshing. Was honestly expecting a lot of hate due to the drastic change but people are digging it and I, in turn, dig that.
I can't wait to hear how all 4 of these translate live, hopefully they'll be playing all of them on their next tour. Anyone hear any rumors about their next tour?
Why would there be any hate? This is EXACTLY what their fans wanted. Clairvoyant is by far their most popular song, and Navy Blue is always hanging somewhere in the top 5 on Spotify. They're clearly trying to double down on the success of those softer songs
Think I'm gonna wait till the whole album is out to listen to anymore. I liked Out Of It and Let It Go so looking forward to the rest.
holy wow. hoping for a couple heavier numbers (even in the vein of out of it/let it go) but loving this direction
Anyone getting the vibes that this could be their last album? Upside Down seems to make it sound like they’re not enjoying things as a band anymore. Anyone else think that?
I personally don't think that, they just made the jump from headlining scene tours to supporting huge artists in arenas. I think this album may be a step in a more accessible, less heavy direction to appeal to more people. Just my guess
I just think he can’t relate to his past lyrics anymore. He’s not as angry as he used to be but he has to sing those lyrics every show. “Have to channel how you made me feel To play every show”
A smart career move but the saturation in the vocals is distracting from what could've been really great songs. Just my opinion.
I guess but I always figured their core fanbase was far more interested in their traditional sound because it's, you know, the vast majority of their music? You seem to be correct though.
