It was from this post on Reddit. Disclaimer: I didn't actually listen to it, just saw a comment in the thread that mentioned that.
We should probably change the thread title to Proper Dose since I’m pretty sure that’s the album name.
It's going to be a rehash of their formula and I'm not even mad about it. They're touring Europe in the fall and people over here seem more excited than they were in the Under Soil and Dirt days. The hype is not going down anytime soon.
I would 100% buy a banner with that album cover. I’m guessing that’s the same lake and mountain range that they are standing in front of in the Out Of It single?
especially if Out of It is any indication. I'll hold my judgments until I hear the second single though.
Interesting. I thought it was a good song, it was just a rehash of everything up until that point. I'll be intrigued if this truly is a change of pace for them.
As long as it’s more than just guitar feedback like the last album. I’d take What You Don’t See pt. 2 over that. I would like to hear an instrumental from the band or songs with a solid instrumental beginning/ending
I want more songs like Transit's Futures & Sutures - I still put it as a top 5 song of theirs And I know a lot of people thought s/t was the most boring, but I thought instrumentally it was their most interesting and vibey record by far. Loved the emphasis on time-signature changes and stuff
Huge missed opportunity for a big early summer release if you ask me. Like all their albums are great driving and jamming with the windows down on the way to the beach type of records. And they could have promoted it on the Coheed/TBS tour to a pretty big audience.
