Wow, from the second video still shot, I straight up thought that was Noel Gallagher. Looks spot on like him. Weird. Also ready for a follow up to Proper Dose. Can't believe it's 4 years old as of a couple days ago, would've believed it came out like 2 years ago maybe 3. Gonna listen to it today.
I feel like this band could break up at any moment between two members leaving. I’d love a follow up to Proper Dose, but not getting my hopes up yet.
Nik from Man Overboard was on bass with them the last few plays, Mike Ambrose from SYG is still drumming as well
Kellen left and I think Ryan can no longer drum due to medical issues from what I’ve heard. This is why Mike from SYG has been filling in.
Ah, I did not know that. Makes sense. I still feel like this band could disappear at any time. The live show is lifeless and they seem like they could barely give a shit. It’s disappointing given how great their last record was.
That looked like Kelen leaving the band To be fair they seemed like they could "barely give a shit" since like 2014 lol
Yeah I mean they never really had a great live show. The crowds going apeshit always made it fun, but the band is definitely bland compared to their peers. It’s hit a whole new level lately though. It’s so awkward to see the band barely move while playing fast/aggressive music and the crowds going crazy. They especially looked out of place when they opened for TBS/Coheed. Not a way to win over a crowd that is not familiar with you lol
I thought they were actually pretty great at Riot Fest, but it also could have been the beer and crowd lol
Bet if you keep this up you'll die here all alone. Yet you still fill your cup, nodding off now. Damn, I love that song.
Proper Dose still is one of my favourite albums of the last decade. Such an awesome fall record. It's a shame about of all the controversy involving the band since.
Been on a pretty big TSSF kick. Last two albums still do it for me. I would love for these guys to continue on with experimentation and build from what they did on Proper Dose. Maybe even take some inspiration from Turnstile since I know Parker loves them and he isn't shy about showing influences in his music.
Sorry for the wait Parker has been too busy traveling the world with notable rapist Harry Corrigan is what they should say when they return
The older I get, the less newer pop punk bands really connect with me. But mannnnn Proper Dose took me right back to the same kind of feelings I got in high school when Blink's Untitled album came out.
They probably don’t know what to do since they burned bridges with their producer and bassist who gave Parker his new persona for this band.
Who was the producer? Also, Ryan can still drum in the studio and already plays keys/bass/guitar in the live setting. So sounds like they only need a producer at this point.
Sam Pura. Look back in this specific thread and you will see posts from him (he has a Chorus account) about his account working with the band on this album.
aw damn. Didn’t know he was still working with them after Proper Dose. I remember he got burned by The Dangerous Summer after Mother Nature came out.
seems like theyve been posting pics of the studio sporadically over the past two years but idk how much further there is to go for another album. they sure have toured a lot this year.
The last album was decent when it came to lyrics. I can't bring myself to enjoy the first 3 albums as much due to the lyrics. No sweat to those who can. Being mad over stale relationships just doesn't swing with me.
