Yikes some of those things they said to Sam, crazy. If they can make their records on their own, they should. If not, respect who helped make them reality. Damn.

 

I've never been in a studio environment before, but I know enough about producers that they are NOT just "the guy who recorded us". He did every single one of their albums!

 

Hasn’t there been multiple complaints from multiple bands about SP? I can’t remember off the top of my head but I swear I remember reading that

 

Their mistreatment of their producer is bad, absolutely, but I wish everyone would also be up in arms over the lead singer of this band starting a new band with a rapist. And touring with that rapist and giving that rapist a chance to harm other people.

 

It seems like maybe something weird happened with TDS and Mother Nature, but I can't remember if it had to do with TDS or Hopeless rushing things faster than Sam/the band wanted to. I want to say Sam popped in to that album thread and talked about it.

Kelen always seemed like the one member of the band who you felt was a normal decent dude. I don’t really care for this band anymore due to the NP/HC stuff but this is weird.

It’s genuinely fucking weird to me that they didn’t just get ANY other drummer.

 

It's on purpose. It's a blatant disregard for any accusations against their shithead friends, even after HC admitted to it. Around the time the shit went down, multiple bands were bringing HC and JJR up on stage with them. They almost became more popular because of it.

 

And fuck the dude who just left the band, too. He explicitly says it wasn't his decision. He's as complicit as the rest of the band. I don't buy for a second that he didn't agree with what the other band members were doing
