The last bit of “Keep This Up” might be my favorite moment of a pop punk song in the last ten years. For real.
That song in general was an instantly nostalgic pop-punk jam from the get-go lol... like it was new but it had that "classic", memorable quality from the very beginning. First listen...
Finally got around to listen to this album and I'm seriously digging it. Never was familiar with this band, but has the singer been vocal about his Oasis obsession? It's creepy how much he emulates Liam Gallagher's stage presence.
In the interviews surrounding this album, he mentioned how much Oasis was an influence on their new sound.
It’s so strange to me that I adore this album so much but can’t get into or through any of their previous material.
well the previous three albums were essentially Under Soil And Dirt parts 1 2 and 3, this one feels like the first time theyve genuinely grown in a meaningful way so I see why its catching on with people who hadnt been into them before
I would say that s/t signaled a start of their transition, and I think I stated as such before, but 1/2/3 can be considered a trilogy of sorts
Yeah, this is the only one of their albums I’ve been able to get all the way through. I don’t know exactly what they did different this time around, but it fucking worked. I still can’t stop listening to this thing.
I go on kicks with this album where I listen to it for two weeks straight then won’t touch it for a month. But every time I do it feels fresh. I never get tired of it.
