  1. Just like The Story So Far, I didn't like anything The Wonder Years did before or since TGG. Definitely check it out since it seems like you and I are in the same boat.

Wild to think The Greatest Generation is already five years old. Still feels like it’s the most recent TWY album to me.

This is definitely my favorite pop punk album of the last 5 years. Also the only time in the last 5 years I think I've liked a pop punk album heh

  12. That album is so good. Kinda Box Car Racer-ish. The singer’s voice is totally him trying to be Tom. But I dig it.

  13. Why is the singer so... stuck at singing no more than three distinct melodies in his damn same high range? The few attempts at non traditional pop punk songs are clearly the standouts, because he isn't constantly trying to overpower the instruments.

I believe they were being facetious and kind of snarky tbh

  19. Maybe. I actually loved Under Soil and Dirt at the time so I'm not trolling the band or anything, just a bit frustrated.

Still massive love for this album. It came out at the right time for me with Autumn just hitting and damn this is their best album by a large margin for me.

I can honestly say I’ve been spoiled this year with new TSST, basement and Trophy Eyes, its been a good year for moody pop punk. Its reignited my love for the genre for sure as I was starting to feel disconnected from it.

Anyone got any recommendations that fits in with this album and the above style wise?

  24. The new Bearings album fits this description and is probably better than any of those three in my opinion.
