My preorder has shipped! I’m gonna hold off on listening to the leak until it arrives tomorrow. Hopefully the double vinyl lp ships soon as well. Looking forward to seeing everything included in that

 

This album just grew on me even more and I loved it from first listen. Such a strong album.

Very stoked to check this out after seeing the reactions in here. Felt the same way about Real Friends and loved that

 

If I Fall is so gooooood.

 

If I Fall is my least favorite on the album, but still great

To me, this is a better front to back album than the Real Friends record, but the highlights are slightly less strong

Kinda crazy that a pop punk band like this can be such an “album” band. Every pre release song on here is significantly stronger in context than alone

 

If I Fall's bridge is exactly what pop punk 18 year old me wanted from this band, so I can still love it for what it is. Upside Down is probably still my favorite. I jammed this all weekend but I haven't listened since, want to come into it and Joyce Manor with a fresh perspective on the actual release day.

 

Parker really stepped his lyricism on this thing

 

This and Joyce Manor on the same day is legitimately insane.

My digital download worked today so I've been able to load it up to my iPod for the car. I love this album already

 

Kinda weird marketing choice for an album about substance abuse to get its own beer.

Wow this album is good. Growing On You is exceptionally ballsy and could be the best song they've ever written.

 

I love Light Year, but I think Growing On You should’ve been the closer.

 

Man I really hate how the chorus on Proper Dose ends. It’s a cool chord change but it’s so abrupt for no reason — like they figured out a neat trick and didn’t know how to use it

 

Yeah i feel like there's 30 seconds to a minute of that song missing. Not that i'm complaining cause the song kicks ass.

 

Really enjoying proper dose. Sounds so good. Not enjoying that I received my pre order bundle this morning and I’ve been sent the wrong tshirt. Got the black one instead of the teale that I ordered. I’m now worried I will have been sent the wrong colour variant as well. Don’t want to open it incase it’s the wrong one and they won’t accept it back :/

 

since their new record is out today, here's your reminder that Parker Cannon physically assaulted fans on two separate occasions and has addressed neither incident. wild how abusive men in this scene will still get a pass.
