yeah these two songs are definitely gonna surprise some people. this is definitely a big pivot from their old sound, not in a bad way either
Now Apple Music has Upside Down while Spotify has Take Me As You Please. Pure Noise seems to be bungling every aspect of this release, which is a shame because this music is miles ahead of their old stuff.
I'd imagine a big delay with this record was the vinyl pressing. Curious if anyone in the industry could shed some light on why bands don't just release the albums digitally and have vinyl pre-orders to be fulfilled whenever they're ready. Though I will say the vibes of these singles definitely point to this record being fit for autumn.
Omg at if they actually made Let It Go as the heaviest song on the album and the rest is like the last 2, and Out of It was re-recorded in that vein
Upside Down is on Spotify now too. Take Me As You Please is still *only* on Spotify, which makes me think they accidentally released it early lol
Upside Down is great. TMAYP is okay. When I listen to these back to back it makes me excited to hear a song like Out of It, rather than just slugging through 10 tracks of Out of It sounding songs. Very glad to see they’re departing a bit to something different. I keep getting Lift A Sail vibes from some of these tracks.
Yeah, and people said Turnover were pulling a Title Fight when PV first came out. Just because you aren’t a pop punk band and decided to chill out a little doesn’t mean they sound the same at all.
What Turnover era are people referring to? This sounds nothing like Peripheral Vision/Good Nature Turnover.
