I did pre order the vinyl since I’m assuming the book will be nicely packaged. They should have released a single though..
It might have been because they were playing with Transit and Poar Bear Club but I felt like Parker was more energetic than either of the former frontmen.
Uhhh, Jimmy was awesome for PBC, super lively. For all the crap Transit (deservedly) gets, they at least had pretty good stage presence. I've seen TSSF a lot since the USAD days, and it has never been their forte.
Yeah, DGD did that.. However, their vinyl always flies out of stock, so they probably knew they could do that from a marketing and money standpoint.
Different realms, but I feel like the TSSF are on the same level from a vinyl/moving albums standpoint.
Jimmy went fucking nuts on that tour. I definitely agree with you, The Story So Far's shows depend entirely on how much the crowd brings it because the band doesn't.
I mean they're an opening band for Coheed and TBS. Besides die-hards, most of their fans would probably wait for a headliner.
Right. Still you'd think they would draw in more than a handful of people. It could just be a bad attended show in general. I'd have to see a video of TBS and Coheed to judge that. I think this album will be pretty good and I usually like the way Pure Noise rolls out albums. For an album that should be one of their bigger ones this year the rollout is pretty bad. I still think once everything is rolled out this album will do well (or at least move the expected amount of units).
Coheed has been posting about this being the biggest crowds they've played to in some cities, so I don't think that's the case. This is just how it goes opening stadium tours. I saw videos that looked similar when Coheed opened for Iron Maiden.
Exactly half the people are either in the parking lot drinking or rolling up the minute TBS comes on.
Yeah sounds like they're taking the aesthetic of Phantom and applying it across the whole album. Explains the promo pictures and the band's style now too
I like the song but the production is muddled for sure. Oh well. Still sticking by my overpriced deluxe vinyl pre-order
I would be all over the shirt bundle if TSSF wasn’t in front of the album art on the shirt. It kind of ruins it. I do like the band poster even though.
