I don't feel like last.fm stats from what is called "the (former) Absolutepunk Group" are indicative of what this forum is listening to/cares about/supports. It seems like those stats are comprised of not only some Chorus folks but also people who used to post on AbsolutePunk but not on Chorus.fm. Anyways, it's still whack people are able to look past someone being a sexual assaulter because the band he is in makes good music. Fuck Harry Corrigan, fuck Parker Cannon and fuck Pat Kennedy.
I’m sure a portion of listeners at the time didn’t know No Pressure had a rapist drummer. We’ve all liked music from bad people before knowing how bad those people actually were. Giving out a number of listeners doesn’t mean much when this thread has already made it clear who the drummer is. Let’s just not share music from No Pressure in here. Even if you like them, surely you can understand that the band is way too problematic to promote.
What even is that thread? What users even contribute to that list and why is it updated every week when it looks like absolutely no one else posts in there lol
Pretty sure I used to post on it back in like 2018 or something but I didn't see the point in continuing further as no one actively engaged with the chart updates anyway. It's pretty much useless in its current form besides thinking "oh that's cool *moves on to something else and forget about this*".
Their set this last weekend at FTC in LA was amazing. In a hardcore setting even at a big venue like The Bleasco they acted their 2011 counterparts.
