I swear every band in the country is touring in November haha. Saturday show may have to hit this up.
Have they played Toronto since the video of him kicking the girl off the stage went viral? Seem to recall the venue (Mod Club) and promoter banned them after that. That said, I really don't pay attention to their tour announcements anymore, so I could be wrong and they've played here multiple times since.
To be honest, I'm not sure if they have. But, it seems silly to me that they wouldn't come back to Canada at all for that reason. I'm sure there is lots of other venues that would take them.
Maybe, but despite there being a lot of venues, there aren't many promoters working in this scene. So if for example Collective decided they didn't want to deal with them, that probably makes things hard. That said, there are a lot of bands not diverting their tours into Canada, or one of them might have gotten something on their record, so it might have nothing to do with that at all.
