The Stereo have launched a Kickstarter for their first new album in nearly 20 years.

Over two decades ago, a band founded from the ashes of two lesser-known bands in the ska-punk scene by Jamie Woolford (Animal Chin) and Rory Phillips (The Impossibles) released a debut album on Fueled By Ramen records that unassumingly helped inspire the next generation of rock music.

Music luminaries like Jack Antonoff (Bleachers, Fun.), Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), and Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional) would all cite their influence – but most people have never even heard of them.

Our trials and tribulations became a cautionary tale, and the kings of no hope would never be heard from again. This is how the story of THE STEREO goes…

    …THAT IS, UNTIL NOW.

Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’re going to write a WHOLE NEW CHAPTER with a NEW PODCAST and NEW ALBUM on VINYL! It doesn’t end there – we’ve got amazing upgrades and new rewards to share as we meet STRETCH GOALS ahead of our campaign end date.
