I may have burnt myself out on them after If I Was came out. I was a huge fan of their debut but I hardly listen to them at all anymore.

 

All 3 of these new songs are fantastic!

 

Fuck, Minneapolis show sold out; cheapest ticket on StubHub is $58. Do I want to pay $58 for a Staves show.....

They were absolutely sublime tonight in Minneapolis

 

Seeing them for the first time on Thursday! Revisiting the first album for the first time in awhile and I forgot how great it is.

 

You won't be disappointed; 2nd album is even better, imo

 

I love them both. I don't know if I can think of many better stretches of songs on an album last year than the front half of If I Was.

Still bummed I missed both their sets at Firefly this year. Hope to catch them sometime! Still only familiar with their first full length though. Gotta change that..

They're playing a tiny bar in Phoenix during their tour next year. Can't wait.

 

Strange that I haven't posted in here before.

Had the privilege of standing literally right next to them as they played a surprise set of Simon & Garfunkel songs at Eaux Claires. An unforgettable memory. I'm nearly tearing up thinking about it.
