I was lucky enough to see these 2 groups play with each other at Eaux Claires last year. They're releasing an entire album. The first single is gorgeous.

I have a new most anticipated album this year

 

Whaaat? Yes, please. The Staves continually blow me away and this sounds like an interesting collaboration.

album cover reminds me of turn out the lights. it's great though. excited to hear this in two days.

The only minor complaint is that there are times that I wish there were more lower sounds. A lot of the songs skew exclusively to high vocals, flute, and high strings
