"Satisfied" is really the only track I'm like "wow" when I listen

 

Voyageur is an all-timer

 

We got the blizzardish conditions yesterday and it's bitter cold today and for the next week. Will need to check this out.

 

Yeah, I think the real-feel here right now is like, 3. Lots of snow already, and more still coming down. Guess I'm hunkering down and not going anywhere for a few days...

 

Wow, I feel super different! Tracks 2 and 3 alone are massive standouts to me. I wasn't initially a huge fan of the title track as a single, but it definitely fell into place for me kicking off the album after hearing the rest and knowing more about the story.

 

This is really really pretty. Not necessarily knocking me on my ass, but it’s enjoyable as hell and something I can see myself returning to a lot. Careful Kid and Devotion were both very good

 

Uh okay so Satisfied is incredible

 

I just want to throw that bluesy piano line on "Waiting On Me To Change" on loop forever.

“Nothing’s Gonna Happen” is so gorgeous

 

The full version works great on the album, but they also put out the original stripped demo on DSPs about a year ago and it has a really lived-in feel that I love.

 

“Paralysed” is really hitting me today. The way it goes from lofi field recording to hifi soundscape at the 2:16 mark is such a wonderful Dorothy-in-full-color moment, especially in headphones. It literally feels good in headphones.
