I had to retire one of my all-time favorites because of holes. It was a TSL track club t-shirt. 4x400 champions
I still have one of the ‘somebody’s gonna miss us’ shirts from 2009 but it really annoys me that I lost one I got with direction album I bought when it was released.
Not sure if there are many reggae fans here, but Iya Terra is putting out a couple of Pop Punk Goes Reggae cover compilations with a bunch of prominent reggae artists. This one from The Starting Line isn't on the first volume that comes out in a month or so (unfortunately), but I'm definitely curious to hear how it comes out.
I attended the Tampa show on Friday, and they sounded great! Everyone's set got cut short as the show was delayed an hour and a half. I think TSL played four or five songs total. The Get Up Kids opened and only got four songs. NFG played maybe 8 and same for The All-American Rejects. Every band brought their A game and killed it given the circumstances.
I used to have the track jacket version of that. Just found it on eBay! Vintage Y2K 2000s American Apparel THE STARTING LINE Rock Band Track Jacket Med | eBay
My favorite design they ever made was the graffiti one. I had been looking for it for awhile and just found it listed on Etsy....for $140. lol
i was today years old when i learned kenny is on THIS demo version of suspension, i thought this was the same demo from destination b-sides so i dont think i ever listened to it..
This is one of my favorite things to re-discover every couple years. I love how Kenny sounds here, reminds me of how he sounds on With Hopes of Starting Over.
he sounds youthful and energetic, i was like WUTTT how did i miss this, the only time i ever saw mae live was opening for TSL so it makes sense
I feel like I indirectly saw Mae so many times from 2002-2008 as openers for the main set I bought the tickets for lol.
I went Saturday in Atlanta, had some storms before which I felt made the crowd light when TSL got on but it was great. Sounded solid and played about 10 songs Kenny was having a good time. TSL and NFG were great.
yeah, whoever made the decision to not use this version on the album made a huge mistake. Song is good, but Kenny elevates it so much, just like every other feature he did.
my show was stacked, it was TSL head-lining, mae was direct support, armor for sleep and someone else opened that i forgot, but 3 out of 4 in 2005 is a primo stacked tour!
If I'm allowed to hope for anything good in this timeline, if TSL puts out new music and does a headlining tour, please god let Valencia be the opener. We need it.
