Oh god, if TSL is about to announce new music this will officially be the best week ever. But something tells me it's another type of nostalgia music festival that they're playing.
The most popular hardcore band right now posted the same thing. Confirmation for the IG crowd about the festival.
Kenny Vasoli of The Starting Line There’s a high chance of new music. It’s not recorded yet. I am actively putting together stuff, but I’m famously slow at finishing stuff, especially for The Starting Line. Which it’s just one of those things where I just need to finally put my foot to the initiative to get it finished. That’s all it’ll take is just really calling the guys up and be like, “Hey, let’s try and make it happen in a month or two.” But I want to make sure that the songs are really worth doing. But I’d like to do something similar to another seven-inch type thing.
I know a lot happened a few months later, but he told me in 2019 they had an EP ready to be recorded for release in 2020, I'll be holding my excitement in until it's official
Wasn't "Luck" also like 5 years old by the time the studio version came out? He definitely likes to take his time on stuff, but I can't say I blame him because everything he/The Starting Line does is quality. Hopefully if they already had a bunch of material that long ago then that means we'll get something with more than three songs this next time around!
Oh yeah, they were playing Luck for YEARS before we got a studio version. And I jokingly (but not really) say Anyways is the best TSL album. If this EP takes another 5 years I'm cool with that, I know it'll be the best thing they've ever done
Maybe they take so long that Kenny has multiple EPs of stuff ready to go and it turns into an album haha
Anyone seeing them in Anaheim on Sunday? I’ve got an extra ticket and would be willing to sell at a cheaper price.
Super bummed but unfortunately can't make it to the show tonight. Have two tickets for sale, less than face value, essentially name your own price, just looking to recoup anything I can and let another fan have a good time without tickets going to waste. DM me.
Any chance Direction or BOATS gets pressed on vinyl in the near future? Those discogs prices are murder.
