Anyone there tonight and know the setlist? First holiday show I’ve missed since 2007, just couldn’t swing it with Covid but super curious what they played.

 

I can't tell you how badly I wanted to go, love TSL and The Movielife so much presently and from my youth. Pretty upset/bummed but Covid is so rampant around me I just couldn't bring myself to risk being in a crowd or enjoy being in one.

Just listened to Direction earlier today and it’s still a masterpiece that only gets better with time.

It’s low key wild to think about how this record will soon enough be 15 years old.

They also walked out to "I'm Real" by Ja Rule & J Lo which was fucking wonderful lol. Closest we'll ever get to seeing them play it

 

You seriously can't get any better than that stretch of the last six songs. Wow.

I have always wanted to flyout for TSL holiday show but it's one of those things it's hard to justify flying out for a concert near the holidays. One day just hoping they announce another So Cal show soon.

 

Oh damn - might have to get a ticket then.

 

Awesome. Bought a ticket to watch it virtually. One of the few years I have missed their holiday show.

 

Definitely plan on tuning in for that.
Pretty sure that's 1 year to the day that they had the Direction livestream

Interesting that they advertise it as including the two opener sets, but it also says this is from 9pm to 11pm. So maybe just a few songs from each opener and then the full TSL set?

 

It was recorded 12/17, so you could probably look at last.fm for set lists if you wanted to

 

Shout out to this Liz Phair cover, my immediate singalong instinct made me realize this one glass of wine hit me harder than I thought lol

 

Gonna have to watch later but looks like Kenny was really into it in the half song I saw.
