Oh man this sounds gooood. I’ve got my headphones on and it sounds like a studio album, rhythm guitar on my right and lead on my left. This is the best band!!

I’m hoping when it comes out on vinyl the album will be on streaming services! But yes, hopefully the video will be made available too, it’s a great tool to learn the songs

 

Totally! When the overlapping vocals come in on the second chorus, that’s one of my favourite TSL moments

 

“A Goodnight’s Sleep” made me giddy the whole way through. That song is soooo good!

 

The bass tone really came through on that quiet chorus, it sounded amazing!

It really says a lot that during every live show over the past month I’ve been like, “Yeah, this has to be my favourite album by them.”

 

This sounds great just like the other two but I will say, I think Kenny is struggling a little bit to hit a few notes that he normally doesn’t have issues with. Still all around awesome though! Maybe three straight days (assuming that’s how it was recorded) wearing on the voice a bit?)

 

He definitely sounded like, noticeably more comfortably on Luck haha. He still does really well on this old stuff but you can tell it’s not really his bread and butter anymore

Maybe it’s just because I’m hearing them all now but the choruses on SILYMI have to be the catchiest of all their albums. Like how did they do it??

Also lol at Kenny calling Cheek to Cheek their “industrial rave hit.” I would love a podcast where Kenny shares his thoughts on every song they have

 

I definitely remember being like 12 and hearing the beginning of Cheek to Cheek and being like “wow this electronica beat”

Yeah I dabbled in some edm when I was younger check this out

 

Funny that Cheek to Cheek has that flavour at the beginning because I’d call it their heaviest song. Definitely one of the hardest to sing so kudos to Kenny and Brian for pulling it off!
