It hurts they play in NYC the day before I arrive... TSL is my second favorite band. At Least I secured tickets for blink!
Thanks for trying, unfortunately the presale has "ended" - I wish I could give them feedback for this process not working as intended.
I had difficulties getting it to go through for about a half hour but then finally secured tickets for the Novo in LA
I completely made it up, but knowing that they are working on LP4 and are planning a fall tour makes me think it might be a non-zero chance.
im bummed we got both of those bands, i rather have had finch and armor but the night is all about the starting line, so now i don't have to rush to get there early lol
is macseal a guy or a band? ive never heard of him/them. i fuckin love me some finch, plus it would be cool to see nate come out and do his screams on 'this ride' & 'cheek to cheek', would be so sick to hear them live
Good point on the guest features! I didn’t consider that, that’ll be really cool if it happens. Macseal is a band - they’re nothing like Finch, but they released a great pop rock record last year
Honest question, but are there any bands I am missing out on in the last 20 years that have released music/albums remotely close to BOATS? The majority of pop-punk bands in the years since are just watered down versions of what was peak around then. Aside from the obvious bands who were killin' it when TSL was, what pop punk bands or albums have been able to have this creative of melodies, riffs, songwriting, etc. I just really feel like most modern bands lack the little something that has them spread creatively like TSL did
I do think post-neon era a lot of the big bands in the genre were scared of being POP. I like what New Aesthetic and The Paradox are doing right now. Neither band has released a ton of music but they are closer to the early 00s sound.
Proper dose is a good one, I think about half the album is solid but the other half absolutely hits what I'm getting at. Haven't heard the other two, I'll check out. Yeah basically, but specifically about pushing the boundaries of the genre like tsl do here Not sure I've heard of either so I'll definitely check them out I've never really dove into this band because what I've heard casually feels pretty generic, but maybe I should change that.
I should revise what I said a little, because there are some bands like Origami Angel, Super American, Dirty Nil, maybe a few others that are kicking ass in that way, I guess I'm just trying to find more
