i got a variant off SRC back in the day and it is uglyyyyy, no center labels on the records either IIRC
Dammit. This was an insta-buy if I discovered it earlier. I guess I'll monitor the page for changes to "out of stock"
I bought the band variant because the amount of pressings they are doing seems unclear. From my understanding it sounds like Geffen is pressing this as a mass pressings. Before this pressing came up the below link has an order page. From 1234Go instagram page this is black and single LP and doesn't sound limited. I almost ordered that one, but then figured if they have this I can order from my local record store, however, they haven't seen this pop up yet so I pulled the trigger on the band variant. If this is a mass produced vinyl I'd assume, there will be another band/tour variant, indie store, Urban Outfitters, Alt Press, Brooklyn Vegan, etc. So either order the 1234Go one or take chances that other variants will pop up, because I think they will. PRE-ORDER: The Starting Line "Say It Like You Mean It" LP
I'm going to need Taylor Swift to reference a few more bands so I can get some other albums repressed
you are a magnificent person. I have missed out on so many pressings of this that i'm not taking any chances. pre-ordered from 1234 Go thanks to you!
Another color, 2 LP variant available here - The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It (2LP) Interscope.com Exclu – Interscope Records
Thanks! For someone who knows very little about vinyl, is there any major difference between having fewer songs per side other than it simply being easier to find them?
I've simplified that for myself with the idea that thicker grooves can contain wider ranges of sound, should have richer content - more minutes mean you need a bigger number of grooves, and if they need to fit one side, they might need to be squished in together a bit, just made thinner with less capacity for detail (that I probably couldn't tell apart hahh). If that's really the case, I'm not sure, but feels logical ;d
