Love the EP. The LP is something I don’t go back to much all these years later, but it was very very special to me at the time and I still have a big soft spot for it

The three b-sides he released from it in 2020 are probably my favorite songs from the project

 

Based on absolutely nothing, I already can't wait to hear 'I see how it is'.

 

never got super into Person L but this song from the split they did with Weatherbox fucking rules and is one of my favorite songs Kenny has been involved in

 

Holy Hell is an absolute banger

 

Phenomenal song, so much raw energy from Kenny's voice

 

ugh man, and Goodness Gracious. Time to revisit!

 

I know it is a different band behind Kenny but, honestly, if the new TSL record veered into this territory at all I would be so stoked about it.

 

I had no idea that I had missed some new Person L. In case anyone else is looking for them too, they're on Bandcamp!

Initial is damn near perfect, and while I really enjoy some Vacationer, the Person L vibes are some of my favorite.

The Positives, Goodness Gracious, Storms, Hole in the Fence, Untitled…..all Person L songs that have been in constant rotation for me for like 15 years

 

I love anything Kenny releases. Can do no wrong imo

 

i had a thing with the positives a couple years ago — i love that album too

 

It came out at a very lonely time in my life, and its weirdness soundtracked the minor identity crisis I was unknowingly having pretty perfectly. Also right around the peak of my pot smoking days and there are a lot of trippy things going on that made it fun to listen to, ha.

This could just be rationalization on my part, but honestly every record Kenny’s been involved with has felt like it came out exactly when I needed it and was what I needed it to be

 

found some old mixtapes awhile back and hearing "Storms" for the first time in probably 15 years was wild. absolutely adore that song.

 

Storms is such a good song

 

Hard to believe this is only their 4th LP. Just goes to show how great and strong their small discography is. It never feels old or nostalgic.

 

They don’t have a bad song in their discography. Hope that holds up.

Wow, this AND a new Rejects album same year / around the same time (maybe?). Crazy, didn’t expect either one to ever make another record.
