So many moments from the first two DVDs live rent free in my brain.

  2. Yeah. All of those dumb bits Randy from Finch was doing on that second one stayed in my lexicon for probably too long. I definitely remember sitting there with a QuickTime Player up on my desktop trying to sync with that Kenny clip

Funny enough I still have all four of those DTR DVDs, but no longer any way to play them

Started the new year by listening to this album. It’s so so so good.

I get a lot of Face To Face in the production and Starting Line meets Title Fight in the passionate writing.

Very excited to grow with this album. Welcome back TSL.

Does anyone know if it's confirmed that he filmed a solo acoustic version in mexico for every song on the record and will just slowly release them all over time? Really hoping so as that will be a great companion in my library.

  7. Don't think he's confirmed that, but it seems likely at this point.

I'm still listening to the full album most days. Still not even close to bored with it or moving on from it.

I'm the same. I was listening to it maybe every week or two before but it's been my go to album since the start of the year. Keeps improving with each listen.

Not EY related, but I'm having trouble finding a general thread for this band. Stumbled across this after seeing the Taking Back Sunday performance from the same night in their thread.

The energy is incredible and god damn it would be amazing to have Drama Summer into This Ride for an opening pair of songs again.

I still don’t get why in the lord’s year of 2026 we need a general band thread AND an album thread, but I’m just a simple man with simple wishes.

I was just thinking about that this past weekend. Would love to have one thread for each band, but i guess i am the same simple minded person too. ha

Have never given a second thought to a general band vs. album thread until now.

for the most part general band threads work best when an artist doesn't have a ton of traction. I have a few album threads that got like 4 posts, so instead of making a new thread if that artist has new material, I just turned it into an artist thread. When an artist has a big following here though, it tends to make sense to go album by album

That all makes sense. And most of the time I think it's better to keep it divided but the simplicity of my brain would love it. lol

  17. The album by album thing has never really made sense to me tbh, but is also something I stopped thinking about a very long time ago

I love album threads. I often go to them and reread reactions to various parts of the release cycle.

  19. main reason they exist imo. otherwise, you'd lose full album cycles in the big band threads. being able to see this entire album rollout for TSL in one place is great, but for things like Blink or NFG or other big bands, the band thread would hit 20k quickly and be retired as well. lets convos stay a little more focused

Good call. I agree that this album thread is a perfect example of the specific album threads being a good thing.

What about the dopes like me who are reading the album thread and then somehow respond in the band thread and derail the whole operation? :crylaugh:

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

I've become aware of many new albums soley because of the thread title formatting - it communicates the nature of discussion easier imo
