Bad news guys. Eternal youth didn’t show up on Jason’s most played in July. Confirmed he absolutely hates it
I threw the new songs interspersed with 2016 ep. Anyways Circulate Quitter Sense of humor Luck pretty good pace. Book end the slower songs. And more mileage out of ep while I wait.
Circulate rips hard. Seems to be about smoking weed though so I will not be listening to it again and cannot recommend it to my friends and family.
I guess I never interpreted that song as that. I always looked at it as a summer anthem. Like those years you can get away with doing dumb shit and side step any consequences
That's definitely the essence of the song I agree. Literally though he talks about smoking weed (where we laugh and we pass to the left...) and then listening to jazz in his friend's room.
Yep this happens to me all the time and I constantly struggle with it. It’s not healthy and it undermines what makes music unique as an art form.
I had to stop keeping an albums list of everything I listened to in the threads here, because I felt like it fed this weird “quantity over quality” thing for me. I still get some fomo when I pop into that thread and see just how many things people are listening to, or go into the new release Friday thread and see people with half a dozen albums (or more) on their “to listen” lists every single week. It can be maddening knowing you’re missing things you’d probably love. But then I look back on the years when I was keeping close track of that stuff, or really trying to keep up on releases, and there are so many I don’t even remember, or that just got a couple plays and nothing more. I’d rather hear 100 albums a year and really give them the time of day than hearing 250 or 300 and feeling like nothing stuck.
@Jason Tate is there a review embargo on this one? At what point can you share a little more about it?
