I feel like this is one of the best lifeless albums I have ever heard. I don't even know if that makes sense, but the quality of the song writing, melodies and the instrumentals themself are so impressive and next level. The whole vibe of the album has always been off to me. But after knowing what the band went through, you can almost feel that these songs DID have like a loss of direction in the production and mixing phase and in turn they put out this darker than intended album.
Nights and Weekends not making the album will never make sense to me. One of my favorite B-sides ever.
I actually think this album is underrated as most people I know didnt like it at all. I think its a very solid album.
I had totally forgotten about this track! I completely agree. It fits this album thematically so well too. The overlapping vocals are phenomenal.
Really looking forward to travelling over to see them in London, England next week, as well as at Slam Dunk Festival.
Release day at Circuit City for $6.99 is peak nostalgia. Literally the #1 feeling from my youth I wish I could feel again.
And opening the cellophane packaging, throwing on your headphones, and reading the lyric booklet while you listen to the whole album.
My sarcasm must not have come through. The chorus is terrible. Literally, having no chorus would have been better.
