The Staircase True Crime Series Coming to Netflix with New Episodes - Film Junk Soupçons - Wikipedia This is the best murder mystery show I've seen and it's coming to Netflix this summer with new information as well. It's along the lines of Making of a Murderer, The Keepers, The Jinx, etc... Cannot wait for this.
I've never seen this, but I'm 99% sure I know how it ends. Isn't "Trial and Error - Season 1" basically a parody of this?
Pretty much, yes I totally forgot how this goes down so I'll definitely do a re-watch - curious about what the "new information" entails
All I can say is that I've never gone back and forth on whether a person was guilty or not than I did with this series. Even up until it's announced in court, I wasn't sure.
I'm six episodes in and I don't know if I think he did it or not but so far there is no way I could personally return a guilty verdict. Also fuck the media.
I've already binged this whole thing, because I spend my time wisely, and I'm happy that everyone finally got a conclusion, even if it wasn't ideal. It's pretty much what I expected, seeing as it's essentially the same as the West Memphis Three. The idea that these filmmakers had the resources, time, talent, and most importantly, the access they had to make this is astounding and should elevate this near two decade long epic to an all time Hall of Fame level in this murder mystery drama. I'm thrilled they were able to stick with it and am glad that Netflix gave them an enormous opportunity to make it available to billions of people. A+
Seriously. There's incidental negligence or whatever, but he seemed to purposefully fuck people over who went to jail for decades. I don't understand our world.
I think if you've watched all the other episodes, you should check them out. I mean, all of these types of shows could be just read as recaps instead. It's real life drama! Haha
decided to watch the first ep for shits. i'm sure there will be more exculpatory evidence presented in the remaining dozen episodes but i was always of the mind that he killed her, and that ep did nothing to change my mind. oh, and duane deaver even got back pay, lol...north carolina is a joke.
