I haven’t been during the day but from everything I’ve read it seems like that would be very okay for children although it’ll definitely be a different experience!
I’ve been about four times and only once did the group in front of us mess things up a little (from what I remember it wasn’t their fault) but usually HO does a pretty good job of spacing groups out. Might depend on what time you go though. I remember the first time we ever went we were blown away because it was busy but more or less felt like we were on our own, but more often than not we’ve purposely had to walk slower or speed up a little to distance ourselves from others without missing out on any scares. Oh god I’m gonna buy tickets today, this is making me REALLY want to go back haha
Anyways I feel like this is an appropriate thread to share this clock I just ordered to hang on my office wall at work lmao. I also asked the artist if he could add a touch of gore
Anyone dressing up for Halloween this year? I just spent around a hundred buying items to make a Marty McFly costume smh. All the cheap costumes didn’t look good so I had to buy an actual vest, trucker jacket, etc. Plus a sports almanac prop. Still need to get more props but I gotta think what else to add to the costume
I typically do, two years ago was Eddie from Stranger Things, last year I was Luigi because my son was Mario. This year he is doing Ash from Pokemon, so I'm just getting a Pokemon onsie, but he hasn't picked it yet.
My local haunted attraction (Lake Hickory Haunts) opens this friday on Friday the 13th. Of course I'm going.
One of my friends and I are going to a haunted house next week and I’m pretty sure the last time I went to one was 25 years ago. I startle easily so I hope I’m not annoying lol
I'm at knotts scary farm and I'm wearing a Death Cab Transatlanticism tour sweatshirt and a dead pirate character looked like he was going to scare me but he just pointed at me and laughed and said "Ha! Emo!" Like I was a total loser and it was the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I updated all my yard pumpkins (~24 of them), from battery powered candles to plug-in LED lights. HUGE and amazing difference. I love it. You can see all the carvings clearly from the street now.
Got my tickets for Headless Horseman next Sunday. Gonna be about 7 hours of driving to get there and back, but I’m excited.
