Ooo I never thought of using hot glue before. I'm wondering if the glue sticks could be melted down, combined with the food coloring, and then splattered on the skeleton before quickly hardening.
They sell red sticks! Sorry, I should have made clear I used hot glue and also paint. Like red paint. But it just looks like paint and not shiny blood like yours did.
Oh got it! Interesting. I'm sure the perfect recipe is posted somewhere out there, but I enjoy the trial and error of it all haha.
Anyone going to any haunted trails/attractions soon? There’s a place near me that has their opening night on the 17th
Doesnt start until 10/1 but I can’t recommend DementedFX enough to anyone in the area https://www.dementedfx.com/ You go through in a small group so it feels very intimate, tons of special effects and HUGE animatronics. It’s pretty long too
Shoot, I'll be up there in October but I already had plans at night (pumpkins at Roger Williams Zoo in RI).
Every Reese's pumpkin or ghost I've gotten this year has been melted beyond recognition after that damn heatwave we had.
I live in Long Beach and this seems like kind of just a renaming of the usual event they have there each year. We never go because it seems like someone always dies or there are huge fights every year. But man I love Shaq and Halloween so I am very tempted.
I mean, I'm excited about Halloween Ends and Hocus Pocus 2, but I'm most excited to watch Hubie Halloween and Ernest Scared Stupid again.
Ernest Scared Stupid and the first Hocus Pocus are always good family fun spooky movies. I always rewatch some of the Halloween films (1, 2, 4 and now 2018) a couple times as well.
Watching Hocus Pocus 2 with some pizza tonight. Watching Scream right now while I put up some decorations. We just realized we had a bunch of decorations stolen and it sucks.
I think Hocus Pocus 2 actually delivered. I’m happy with it. Just as fun as the first although I thought the ending dragged on a bit in HP2 haha. Happy they did it justice and I thought the scene after the credits was cool.
We tried to do some in the Over the Garden Wall aesthetic, not sure if that exactly translated, but I think they still look pretty cool.
Already put it to the horror thread, but let me know if you have any horror/Halloween food puns that go with party foods. The sweatier the better.
