I haven't done a costume in years. Also never been to a legit haunted house. For me October is mostly just an excuse to watch too many movies

 

There’s an orchard/pumpkin patch near me that does haunted houses and hayrides and I might not be a baby and do one this year! Although, we went there for my boyfriend’s dad’s company picnic last summer and wandered into one no realizing we weren’t supposed to and it was pretty creepy even when we knew it was abandoned soooo...we’ll see.

I haven't worn a costume since I was like 7, wait no in middle school my mom made me do a Halloween thing so I was a 50s greaser which was just jeans and a white t shirt haha

I was scared of Halloween from elementary school until pretty much college haha, and adult Halloween took me a bit to get, and now I have nowhere to wear a costume too and I'm not gonna do it just for fun that's weird

 

I'm not getting a PSL today but I am dressed in a fall outfit because I'm willing it into the universe even tho it's eighty degrees. But that feels like fall compared to 110 degrees.

 

Heat index is 105 here in MA. I am going to wait till Sept 1st. I already had a shipyard pumpkin head last week so I have to have some self control before I go full force on #pumpkineverything

I'm not getting a Pumpkin Spice Latte because they are fucking lie, it isn't even pumpkin it's literally the spices they put in pumpkin pie like nutmeg and it doesn't taste good and that's the tea, I guess coffee not tea you get the idea

 

I drank an Oktoberfest beer at the beach this weekend. Screw it!

My mom mailed a few things from my childhood house to my apartment that I needed and she threw in enough fun-sized chocolate bars that I won’t need to buy any to give out on Halloween. But they’re not going to make it to September let alone October muahaha

 

Damn. One day into this teaching class and we’re already signing up for presentations. Fack.

I forgot when I was out this morning so I will just wait until tomorrow since there is a starbucks in my school library >:)

 

I put up decorations and watched Hellraiser yesterday to start the season. We also recorded a great podcast with the director of Hell House LLC which I’m SO excited to put out.

I just had a pumpkin donut from Dunkin and then I bought tickets for Halloween horror nights!!! I’m so excited!
