I wish I had a picture of myself as an emo kid. My blonde hair painted jet black, skinny jeans, an old cursive t-shirt, makeup, and about 10 fake piercings. Maybe I should go as that again.

I don't remember what I did last year at all. I know I worked on Halloween day, not sure if I went out or anything

 

We have hosted Halloween parties for the last two years. This year I'm gonna let someone else offer up their place to be trashed, I've done my fucking time.

This was me like three years ago. Not sure I'll top it but I'm gonna try to this year, money permitting.

 

So I'm attending my wife's cousin's wedding in Cancun Oct 30th and there isn't even a Halloween party the next day , like, what the fuck.

I'm writing an article about how a bunch of stores put out Halloween candy and decorations on like August 30 and refuse to admit that September exists so they can get $$$

It's working tho, I'm pumped 4 Halloween

Last year I was the golden butterfly snapchat filter.
In 2010 I started the night as Taylor Swift and over the night morphed into Ke$ha (this was after that meme came out that was like..kesha is just taylor swift + whiskey)
I was Ursula one year (and my ex bf was Ariel)
I was Wendy to his Peter Pan another year
I was a Lichtenstein pop art piece one year.

it'll take some digging since I clearly have to find at least 2 pictures to show the transition but yeah I was so proud of that haha. I won the costume contest at that party.

 

I have to dress up twice a year. Once for Halloween and once for Bay to Breakers. I'll probably just use the same costume for both. I have one in mind and getting all the materials is gonna be a little pricey so I can't fully commit yet lol

I haven't bought a Halloween costume since I was like 7, my mom made me dress up in middle school but I was a very lazy 50s greaser

I was really scared of vampires and monsters as a kid so Halloween wasn't fun, and I've only realized how fun adult Halloween is the last few years and I don't have friends to party with
