tis the season for anything related to costumes, candy, decorations and the monster mash, and other stuff too
yup Tumblr's new Hallowmeme is 'too spoopy to live, too creppy to die' I think mine's probably like half of that and it still feels like a lot, lately I just want to listen to Werewolves of London on repeat though because it's so perfect
My household holds Halloween as a high holy day and we have our sacred Halloween mix. But I wanted to have Halloween-y jams playing for hours while I graded after work so I beefed that sucker up.
I'm trying to plan something Halloweeny but I think it's gonna fall through. I wanted to go to St Helens and do something. This year Xander and Anya from Buffy will be there and y'all know how I love my dlist celebs. Marnie from Halloweentown will also be there but I don't see myself being able to go. My usual travelmate hasn't been paying me back on trips and my car isn't reliable to go alone.
I went to this dual haunted house thing in Springfield, MO, not bad. Maybe it's because I've been spoiled by the top tier haunted houses in St. Louis but I felt while they were decent, I felt they could have been a little bit better.
A friend is throwing a Halloween party and invited me, but I've literally never been to a house party. Idk if I want to go. Meh meh.
I find unless you plan on getting hammered as hell or looking to hook up with people in skimpy costumes, Halloween parties really aren't all that great. That's just from my personal experience though, I'm the guy who'd rather put on a few movies and have a group of people watch them and have fun.
mad at myself for not starting this.... http://skillet.lifehacker.com/the-best-stores-to-buy-any-type-of-halloween-candy-1736652291
Growing up everyone had a story about how theres a haunted house that you pay $100 but if you make it to the end you get it back. Apparently they could touch you. Was this a story/rumor in other places too? Just one of those rumors that came out every halloween and people were always talking about. my friend looked it up, cause she wanted to go. Found nothing, dont think it truly exists.
There's a haunted house in pdx that addressed that rumor and how it wasn't true as well. Not $100, but that you'd get your money back if you made it to the end
