Are Cloakroom good? I know Talbot produced some of their stuff.

 

I like Further Out quite a bit more than Time Well, but yeah, definitely worth checking out. I prefer Greet Death though, highly recommend checking out New Hell from last year if you haven't.

 

man, i like cloakroom way more than greet death and like time well more than further out lol. it's also notable that cloakroom are much more "space rock" than greet death, that lean more towards the slowcore part of cloakroom's sound.

Yeah I like Greet Death enough but Time Well is an absolute motherfucker of an album

 

i did not know we had new Cloakroom incoming nor that they were connected to Greet Death

 

They’re not connected, they both play space rock, but I think Cloakroom does it better

 

Not connected, but I definitely feel like they're in a similar realm re' big, fuzzy, occasionally atmospheric riffs. I just prefer Great Death's songwriting, personally

this EP is out now. pretty obvious that they're straight jocking Hum, right down to the sleepy, barely off key vocals, but they do a good enough job that I like it anyways
