i needed to hear Anthony nail something live again. Skullflower and Act 2 here put a smile on my face.
This set was so much shorter than their other shows. Like half as long. They played 18 songs last night in Tempe. It was so great. Also Keith Goodwin for days. Made me so happy.
Yep. It was the closer. They did 4 song encore. Skullflower, stockhausen, Heraldic Beak, Sharon Tate. Also, Matthew Kelly opening it by himself doing Wolf was so powerful. Wish I could find a good video of that.
Just realized whoever posted that video didn't put all the setlist or times on it so there is more songs they just didn't list them in the description. So it was a longer set but still didn't see Wolf as I was scrolling through. Sharon Tate at an hour 3 minutes if you wanted to see it.
Oh man you were at the Tempe show? Me too. Really loved the set. Was my first time at the Marquee. Is moshing not allowed at all? I just moved to the area so I'm not sure because I saw a lot of people getting kicked out. I've heard bad things about security there.
I want more Keith music in my life, I miss Good Old War terribly and really would love to hear more from him sooner than later
Yeah it used to be, and their identities used to be secret, and there was a mystery to the whole thing. But 15/20 years later, we all know who is in the band, there's no need to be secretive etc anymore
LOL. I saw plenty of moshing. But I was sitting up in the balcony. I'm too old for that shit anymore. But I definitely saw the pit go crazy during all the Tiger songs. I couldn't tell how far the stage was from the crowd but I noticed there was no crowd surfing at all. Crescent Ballroom is the best place to see those types of show IMHO. Van Buren and Marquee are both very similar clubs in how they are set up.
100%, on top with Days Away, perfect in their genre, but he's just very talented all around and a really good-sounding singer
Definitely watching that tonight! Though it's too bad if Wolf is not on it, one of my favorites lately ;o
I’m not sure as I wasn’t at the fest. But according to set list.fm they only played 14 songs that night (not wolf) and other shows have 16 or more it looks like. They played for 90 minutes in Tempe so video is def shorter than that.
For anyone that's been to any of the recent shows, what time have their sets started at? Just trying to gauge when to get there.
Jesus Christ that was a fun show. I think I was smiling the entire time. Only took 18 years to see them.
