Finally listened today. The horror is fucking wild. Honestly maybe the worst track ive heard this year. Enjoying the rest a lot.

 

"Evil Sprites" sounds like a lost Razia's Shadow song

 

Ps my first listen of this, I thought it was pretty sick. Different from before, but each album is pretty different so no surprise there

 

I spun the vinyl today and thought it was great as a one listen thing. I honestly don’t even know where “The Horror” happened at.
Also: Keith is the best.

 

I was definitely expecting worse from The Horror after reading this thread

 

honestly think Pretty Like Cake is worse, Horror is actually trying to do something new for them if not entirely succeeding

 

pretty like cake is good and matt kellys voice is so good its crazy

 

i want to love evil sprites but man the delivery of the spoken word really kills it

 

btw i finally listened to the latest pyramids album….. wtf were they thinking with that

it’s pretty interesting tbh but not something I’m gonna listen to a lot. I respect it

Ahhh shit that would be fun! As of now, my plan unfortunately is to get the kids to bed and drive straight to the show for just TSOAF. My 3 year old is having a random bout of bad sleeping right now so I'm hoping it's a good night and I can get out on time. There's a chance I can't pull it off, but I'm going to try! (Anaheim)

Yeah, probably same thing they did on last tour where they do shorter versions of each.... which yeah. Is a lot better IMHO.

 

Threw this into an apple playlist earlier and jammed it. Gonna be a good show! Feel like Fall of Western is a little out of place overall but I'm sure it will work live like usual with this band.

 

Looks like they have been playing 15 song sets the past couple nights now. They removed Lady of the Cosmos (surprising), Fall of Western and Stockhausen.
