The way she says Mario or the way Chris says Poke-e-man is spot on for that generation of older people who didn't understand games.

Watching this show for the first time.

Been a few really affecting episodes, but I just finished S5E11, Long Term Parking…

    Fucking hell.

The moment Tony called, I felt like shouting “RUN!” When showed her in the car and made it look like she was driving, I out loud just said “oh no…”

Probably my favourite and most crushing episode yet.

When my wife watched that episode for the first time, she burst into tears and stormed out of the room, claiming she was done with the show. But we of course had to finish. But the devastation… it’s real.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

For sure a top 5 episode.

On like my 12th rewatch, at the end basically. It fucking guts me every time I watch Christopher's death. I feel like it gets harder to watch every time.

My girlfriend and I are probably on our 4th rewatch together now (and we’ve each seen the show way too many times before we met) but one of our favorite lines that we repeat often to each other is from The Ride episode which we watched tonight. After Tony and Christoper hijack the wine from the bikers at the liquor store, they mock them later at the restaurant and Tony sarcastically/nervously says “We’re with the Vipers”.

Everyone loves Pine Barrens but the funniest Paulie scene by far is with the paranormal group. It is the perfect encapsulation of who he is as a character, initially dismissive and insulting toward something he doesn't understand but immediately falling for his superstitions the second it seems like someone might know something he doesn't. The chair throw is so funny because it doesn't really accomplish anything other than letting him get out rage because he knows he can't hit the guy in a room full of witnesses.

I tried the pod, but tbh I only got through 3 episodes before giving it up. Steve rambles and talks over Michael constantly.

Not a great pod but it is a funny dynamic that Michael tries to talk about the subtext of each episode and Steve only understands the most surface level reading of every episode “huh. I didn’t get that at all”
