They say there's no two people on Earth exactly the same. No two faces. No two sets of fingerprints. But do they know that for sure? Because they would have to get everybody together in one huge space and obviously that’s not possible, even with computers. And not only that, they’d have to get all the people who've ever lived, not just the ones now. So they got no proof. They got nothing. Tony Sirico may have passed but who’s to say there isn’t another Tony Sirico just like him, or will be? Maybe not with the same fears and paranoia but... the same. What I’m saying is R.I.P. king
About halfway through season 2 and lots of good stuff. - I was thinking that Anthony Jr hadn't had many lines this season until the episode with his confirmation where he's all broody and quoting Nietzsche. His "god is dead" line to his parents was great. Tony coming back with the "even if he is dead, you're still gonna kiss his ass!" lmao - Jon Favreau showing up was the last thing I expected. Also forgot to mention Frank Sinatra Jr. So far, the hardest I've cringed watching this show is when Chris is hanging out in Favreau's room talking about his script and he starts kinda wrestling him while holding a loaded gun and Jon is freaking out. That was super uncomfortable lol - So Pussy is a rat too, huh? Sucks. The whole sequence of him telling Anthony Jr how good of a guy his dad is - while wearing a wire to get Tony caught - to him crying in the bathroom was intense. - The shot of Chris sitting on the front doorsteps to Tony's house during AJ's confirmation right after Tony says he'll give him 10 minutes to decide if he wants to come back or leave and never see Tony again is - and it's been a minute since I've said it - iconic. That was a good episode. And damn, him getting shot at the end of the next episode by his two underlings was not something I saw coming.
All the "the gang meets X" episodes are pretty bad. The rap producer in season one is just so silly and you can tell the writers were so proud of that argument between Hesh and some guy they call a life long friend who we never see again.
I was wondering about that, nothing ever came of it. Dude was in an episode, threatened to take Hesh to court, and then was never seen again
It is a great show but it does have some really off moments. The Feech La Manna episodes are a big one for me; Robert Loggia was apparently a nightmare on set so they wrote him off but it makes his appearance little more than Richie Aprile Part Two.
D Girl is a totally ridiculous and out of control episode but tbh it has one of the funniest, most memorable scenes of the whole show for me.
I agree about d girl and a hit is a hit but I will always go to bat for Christopher which is a hilarious episode
IDK people seem to point to those episodes, but in all my times watching this show, I still enjoy my experience all the way through. Sure some episodes aren't necessarily as good as others but they all serve a role in the greater story being told, and each of those episodes have plenty redeeming moments.
D-Girl is hardly essential exceeeept that AJ/Livia scene just chilling in there. probably one of the most important character beats and your first real indicator of the kind of themes the show is gonna tackle later on Christopher is good and has some hilarious stuff in it. Hit is probably the worst episode of the show
