After 20 something years I just realized the kid who plays Bobby's son was also one of the students in School Of Rock.

 

I'm in season 3 of my rewatch. God Ralph is the worst.

 

Joey Pants was on the WTF podcast and mentioned around the time he was on the show, women of a certain personality type would recognize him and begin flirting because they thought he was like that character.

 

It is a credit to his performance how endearing the character is.

 

Wild that women would want to flirt with a character that beat his pregnant mistress to death

 

Human sexuality will always remain the weirdest part of the species.

 

Endearing is not how I would describe Ralph. He was possibly the most hateable and annoying character on the show.

 

I hated him, I don't know of I hated him as much as Leotardo. Phil was one of the most hateable tv villains ever.

 

Finished another rewatch, probably my fave show of all time, I got really lucky and scored the full complete Blu-ray at a random yard sale last month.

 

One of the weirdest hyper-specific things about the show is how Tony laughs after he has an orgasm.

You know what episode I realized is really great? 3x12 Amour Fou. The Jackie Jr card game thing, the Gloria Trillo stuff, even the Carmella plot this episode is great. There is a fantastically acted emotional scene between Chris and Tony. I think it often gets overlooked because It's the episode that follows Pine Barrens.


Also love the scene where all the mob wives realize that Hillary Clinton is the model mob wife.

 

My unpopular Sopranos opinion is that I never particularly cared for the Artie Bucco story arcs.

 

Well, Artie sucks so I don't blame you lol

 

Artie’s relationship with Tony is very important and gives a lot of insight into Tony in general.

 

Mainly that he never had the makings of a….nvm

 

Well yeah his character is important, but the dude sucks haha

 

Artie suffers from being in the show a little too long. It starts to repeat after a while.

 

He was just a big whiny cry baby

 

this is a fair take

 

I’ve always liked him but it’s hard to watch him crash out when that liquor investment went belly up.

 

Yeah but that’s Tony taking complete advantage of him, one of his only friends that’s not in the mob.
