Yeah that was a fart sound moment, was hoping for another AUS band.

Really weird that they're opening fort Midnight Oil lol

Also I've never listened to Astronaulits but would have been cool to see them and The Flatliners together.

No support on my date yet

Three North Carolina dates, that's cool.

  4. HueyLewis

    Regular

I'm gonna hit up San Diego, so I can see them with out midnight oil.

So excited to see these guys on the 8th.

I am sad that this doesn't seem to have sustained the hype around these parts, in terms of AOTY talk. I certainly think it's more deserving than a record like After the Party, as much as I enjoyed it.

About to watch this band headline and I'm so excited. Not very familiar with anything prior to these 2 recent albums aside from Young Drunk, stoked regardless

Can't waaaaaait for my show in a few weeks. First time I'm seeing them headline after seeing them open a few times throughout the years.

Goddammit, woke up to a Facebook message from my aunt telling me we are doing a day cruise for my grandma's 80th birthday the day of my show, so that's not happening

It sucks, but my grandma is the glue of the family and it would be supremely fucked up to ditch out to recoup the $20 I spent on this lol

How fucking good is this record? My three most listened to songs of the last 6 months according to Spotify are Forrest, Birthdays and Song For You. There are still lines that punch me in the gut.

“I do not feel that I am loved, but I do not reach out enough”

Birthdays / song for you / it kills me to have to be alive are definitely my top 3 most played this year not by Frank ocean

    Play the Yakuza series

I still need to listen to this album a few more times but Passiona, Shine, 25 & It Kills Me are definitely my faves. Still falls short of TMITR/NOGLA but only just by a very slight margin

I think it obliterates those two and I think they're both good records which is a testament to how good this band is

can we agree that Sunshine & Technology is the "worst" one of the lot even though it's still really good

Absolutely. I think a lot of that is to pin on the production, but big yes.

All great records but the Don't Fuck With Our Dreams EP tops them all

still my easy number one. record has become very important to me. glad to see how much momentum they have gotten from it, even if most of it is international.

Love this album. Forest is probably my favorite album opener of the year

Close runner ups are Tellin' Lies & A Headache With Pictures

  24. Rob Hughes

    Play the Yakuza series

Tellin’ Lies is my fave opener this year, Forrest def 2nd though, both bands know how to start a fucking record.
