I didn't give it enough time honestly. I should go back and give it another try, I did enjoy Ones and Sixes.

 

It’s definiteoy different and weird and took a few months to grow on me

 

okay I REALLY like the Rivulets album from last year

 

from last year, but I discovered this tonight instead of doing my homework

 

more Rivulets talk - it’s not truly slowcore but I’m getting some serious Restorations vibes on the slower/louder songs. something that immediately popped into my head.

 

I never considered that but I feel like I can see where you’re coming from, especially with some of the weirder/less punk stuff off LP5000

 

thanks to spotify I'm rediscovering reservoir. used to adore this band back in my later high school years. hope they put out something new soon

 

this, from last year, mixes slow core with post rock and maybe even some folky elements. quite good

 

reviving the thread to post the new album by half thought, ex clique

 

Just rediscovered this classic

 

gonna go through and comb through the stuff I've missed but the death of Clique is pure devastation :( I haven't seen anything official but I know they're not super active on social media anyway

it dominated my listening for a while, it’s incredible. I’ve been going back and listening to more from him, all very good and worth checking out.

 

Burden Piece is one of my favorite albums and I’d put this on the same level - can’t stop listening

 

excited to get to that and maybe finally get around to En Route too

 

forgot about the Half Thought album, throwing that on now.
