Name the albums from bands that you 'love' that have somehow slipped through the cracks. I have playlist full of these albums:

    • Rufio Anybody Out There - love everything Scott's been doing. Fucking loved Perhaps, I Suppose.
    • Emery - Probably everything between The Question and Eve
    • MxPx - Love them so much. Have never listened to Secret Weapon
    • Thursday - Common Existence
    • Bayside - Cult
    • NFG - Not Without a Fight

For the most part, if it's a band I LOVE, there's no way I'm letting an album slip through the cracks but pre-internet era, I remember being in high school when The Green Album came out and I had no idea that Weezer released Pinkerton after The Blue Album so diving into that in the early 2000s was super cool.

I was in Middle School when Pinkerton was released, and that 1996-1999 era was probably when I was most into hip-hop so I checked out on a lot of rock bands during that timeframe.

Singer of this band has gone on to cowrite some massive hits, but I still don’t get how this didn’t take back in the day:

I was LEGIT going to start this exact thread today. 2025 has been a big year for me listening to these records. So far it’s included

Radiohead: Hail To The Theif, Pablo Honey, and all the B-sides
    Deftones: Around The Fur
    Jimmy Eat World: Invented, Damages

idk, like stone temple pilots come to mind? imo they were head and shoulders above anybody else doing their kind of tunes and i'm not sure they never really exploded proportionately. obviously they had their own demons which explains a lot but yeah, feel like stp could've/should've been nirvana level

like, c'mon, this kind of chord movement and huge hooks and a lyrical exploration of power structure in relationships in 1999? get outta here

No. 4 is a severely underrated album. There are a ton of great tracks on that one

STP was my favorite band in elementary/middle school. So fortunate to have seen them live three times too.

my favorite stone temple pilots album was always tiny music but their first four is a really solid run

Tiny Music is great too. Lady Picture Show is a top five song of theirs for me

Purple is one of my all-time favorite albums.

Atlanta (off No. 4) is my favorite STP song. Hauntingly beautiful.
