Really cool seeing them stretch their wings a bit and expand their palette. I've been waiting patiently for them to pop off a bit more, bump up a bit in venue size, etc.

Hopeful this EP can deliver on that based on this track! Band deserves it so hard.

Yeah pretty big level up I think, excited to hear the whole EP. Out of all the new ska bands I think they're the only one that has the potential to "pop"

Of all the Bad Time bands they're the only one that has a solid mix of heavy touring and crossover appeal with other "punk" sub-genres to make that kind of bump viable. Not like, to an Interrupters level, but enough to get their own solid fanbase and continue touring regularly.

We Are the Union is the only other one that I think could potentially get close. And I'm legit still a little shocked that the last LP didn't do more for them. I was convinced they were gonna "pop" on that one. Still a little sad it didn't happen.

When I saw them there was maybe 20-30 people there , this was years ago though.

I assure you there are more than 20-30 people coming to their shows at this point! Haha. They did a triple co-headliner with WATU and Kill Lincoln back a few years back and the show sold out with most everybody sticking around for their set at the end of the evening.

Their Boston headliner on this current run is 150-capacity. Which is a definite growth from 2019 where I saw them opening for WATU in a venue that was like, 50% smaller than that. LOL

Also: Very grateful for this thread! It just reminded me that I forgot to get tickets for the Catbite show here in June.

Hada few bands from the area who were super talented but for whatever reason things never went to distance.
Some bands like folly from NJ started playing a mix of ska with some hardcore added, scaling back in as much of the brass sections to it being something someone who have never believed they had written themselves based on the prior type of sounds. They beyond killed it with "for my friends" and some of the songs from insanity later.
Would play phenomenal sets. Super talented dudes. They got their hat in the ring here and there fairly recently.
This or for my friends are some top tier stuff. Not heavy on horns but is still well within skuidelines

Another local line up Last picked NJ. The EP Iinked is all good stuff crazy with how young they were as well.

Its impressive how .much of a following this band has pulled together in a time where very few people were really booking line ups that would work and maybe once/twice a year there'd be something similar to a ska revival type tour or the usual streetlight show. They really didn't stay together super long but I saw a bunch of their shows and holy shit. The beeswat one would have the entire venue getting super into it

Maybe a few people will be into some of this stuff

This line-up is straight outta the 90s in the best way. Not a ska band but the Amazing Royal Crowns are straight-up one of the most fun live bands ever!
