New Bad Time Records signing: Call Me Malcolm! A really rad UK ska-punk band that kinda sounds like if you jammed Kill Lincoln, RX bandits, and Mustard Plug into a blender with a dash of Frank Turner and set the speed to "Fat Wreck circa '97."

Really stoked they'll be getting a bit more support stateside for this album. First track is up and it's a banger. Pre-orders on the Bad Time site too.

Yeah, the new song's a banger! The 2020 album is worth listening to if you dig the general vibe of this one. Everything before that is "fine" but the 2020 record is where they really honed in on something great.

Really, really happy that Bad Time signed them! And it sounds like they have plans to tour the U.S. this year which is gonna be awesome.

 

I will check out that album!

Greg Lee from Hepcat passed away yesterday. One of the greatest to ever do it, IMHO.

This fucking sucks.

EDIT: I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to see them live before he passed. Riot Fest 2021. One of the highlights of my weekend.

 

Apparently Bad Time Records has two "dream come true" announcements coming next week. One of them is a tour and the other is an album announcement.

I am really hoping the album announcement is something new from Big D and the Kids Table. Big D's been doing a lot of shows with Kill Lincoln recently and it's just too perfect a fit for them to not release an album with Bad Time. Hah. And doing so could really put some gas into that band's tank!

 

Hi I'm new here. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I play in a skacore band called Moonsault. We're from Pawtucket, RI and we put out our first demo about a month ago. if anyone is interested checking out a brand new band here we are!
