Didn’t see a dedicated thread for this so I thought I’d pick it up. For the 1st wave, 2nd wave, 3rd wave...all those riding the 4th wave.

New Stacked Like Pancakes our today. It’s pretty different for them: Be Like Max is also worth checking out - reminds me of Suicide Machines:
Before that Lawrence Arms album dropped last week this was easily my #1 contender for album of the year. It's been forever since a ska-punk record grabbed me like this one. It's like they took Less Than Jake's energy, the melody and vibes of RX Bandits, and melded it with the horn section of Streetlight Manifesto. I hear shades of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in the guitar work as well... Phenomenal album.

just learned recently that Mad Caddies released a covers album a couple years back and realized I'm outta the loop, gonna follow this thread now
Good read - and found few new bands to check out: Ska's New Generation Is Here To Pick It Up Pick It Up First year in a long time where most of my top albums so far have been ska - FIF, SKA DREAM, new BossTones
That, it does! I'd also suggest the new Joystick album if you're looking for a modern take on the ska-core sound that the Bosstones left behind a while back. It kinda sounds like Pears if they had ska parts. All the bands name checked in that article are fantastic! That Kill Lincoln record was one of my favorites from last year, and Catbite was a favorite from the year prior. I'd also suggest giving Call Me Malcolm, Grey Matter, and Joystick a look if you like the whole "ska-punk" thing with just a bit more "punk."
Found Millington tonight and holy shit. To go with the “sounds like X with horns” comparison I’m going with Fireworks (and maybe a little NFG) with horns -
