Starting another seasons 1-9 run. Probably the best @OhTheWater recommendation.

 

It is crazy that you needed to be recommended The Simpsons

 

I watched it randomly when I was a kid but I had no idea what was good and what was bad.

 

Seasons 3-8 are the real golden years imo but season 2 gets like halfway there and I have a soft spot for 9 and 10 because of the reruns I watched growing up.

 

Some people include 10 in the golden age but it really starts to decline in 9.

 

Most shows don't justify existing longer they got as much quality as they did out of twice that is pretty wild.

 

I still watch new episodes, but if I'm rewatching anything it's season 12 or earlier or it's a Halloween one.

 

3-8 are my favs
I give it 1-20 before I really start to have troubles

 

I don't remember which season is which but it makes sense that Luke be a jedi tonight would be their last big season

9 definitely starts the decline, but still has some great episodes

 

Tbh for me 8 starts the decline. Some all-timers in there but The Homer They Fall and Burns Baby Burns back to back is their weakest two episodes since like season 2
